Kizer Madrac CL AirTi – Purple Crystallized Titanium, X-Polished DLC M390 | Blade District Exclusive

The Kizer Madrac CL AirTi Blade District Exclusive takes Matteo Pignatelli's ultra-thin, lightweight Madrac platform and gives it a completely different level of finish. Limited to just 100 individually serialized pieces, this exclusive combines custom Purple Crystallized Titanium, Kizer's new Super Mirror X-Polished DLC M390 blade, titanium liners and pocket clip, and Matte Black DLC hardware throughout.

At only 2.66 oz with a remarkably thin 0.35-inch handle (8.89mm), the Madrac AirTi delivers full titanium construction in an incredibly lightweight EDC package.

But getting this one right took some work.

Purple Crystallized Titanium – Four Attempts to Get It Right

The handle wasn't simply selected from Kizer's existing crystallized titanium finishes.

From the beginning, Blade District wanted a very specific purple crystallized titanium appearance for this exclusive. Kizer produced three different attempts, but none achieved the color we were looking for. After the third attempt, we decided to abandon the purple entirely and move forward with another color.

Then, a few days later, Kizer came back with one final attempt.

That was it.

The resulting finish delivered the rich purple crystallized titanium appearance we had originally envisioned, and we immediately approved it for production. The crystalline structure creates an organic pattern across the titanium, giving every knife its own individual character while maintaining the unmistakable purple appearance developed specifically for this Blade District Exclusive.

Kizer X-Polished DLC – Their Most Reflective Mirror DLC Yet

The blade takes the finish even further.

Rather than leaving the M390 blade uncoated, we selected Kizer's new X-Polished DLC; their latest and most premium mirror-polished DLC treatment.

X-Polish takes Kizer's Mirror DLC to another level, producing an exceptionally dark, highly reflective surface with an almost glass-like appearance. Previously seen only on the Kizer Sable Chief, this is the first Madrac to receive the new X-Polished DLC treatment.

Underneath that finish is Böhler M390, a premium powder metallurgy stainless steel prized for its combination of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and wear resistance.

The contrast is exactly what we wanted: an intensely reflective black M390 blade against the one-of-a-kind Purple Crystallized Titanium handle.

X-Polished DLC Blade. Matte Black DLC Everything Else.

We didn't want the rest of the knife competing with the blade.

While the blade receives the highly reflective X-Polished DLC, the remaining metal hardware is finished in Matte Black DLC. This creates a deliberate contrast between the mirror-like blade and subdued hardware while tying the entire design together against the purple titanium.

Even the internal construction stays premium. The liners are titanium, and the pocket clip is titanium, maintaining the lightweight character that makes the AirTi platform special.

AirTi | Full-Size Capability at Only 2.66 oz

The Madrac CL AirTi is the lightest and thinnest version of the Madrac.

Despite carrying a 3.06-inch M390 blade, the knife weighs just 2.66 oz (75.5 g). The handle measures only 0.35-inch handle (8.89mm), allowing the Madrac to virtually disappear in the pocket.

Kizer's Clutch Lock™ provides smooth ambidextrous operation, while dual thumb studs offer quick deployment. Combined with its thin titanium construction and reversible deep-carry titanium pocket clip, the Madrac AirTi was designed to deliver premium materials without the bulk normally associated with a full titanium folder.

Only 100 Produced – Individually Serialized

Production of the Blade District Exclusive Kizer Madrac CL AirTi is limited to only 100 pieces.

Each knife is individually serialized inside the titanium liner, preserving the clean exterior of the knife while identifying each piece as part of the limited production run.

Every knife also includes a Blade District Certificate of Authenticity and an exclusive Blade District sticker pack.

Once these 100 are gone, this configuration is gone.
